first day all over again

its the first day of our Year 2 in uni. ya, it did felt like the first day of school all over again, as from Year 2 onwards, we are split into our respective branches of engineering. so sad.


anyway, my first monday consist of a stretch of 5 hours lecture, with no breaks in between. one word.  BORINGGGG! like, freaking boring. ugh. i was so not in the study mood at all, can't even feel the excitement over meeting new lecturers and new friends. frankly, all i wanted to do today was to finish reading the manga series i'm following: katekyo hitman reborn. and i did =p i'm just so NOT in the mood to get back to uni.


BUT. things get better when i met my old friends and old course mates =D guess who i met the second i step into uni? ning and jian shen =D both of them have classes starting at noon too. and then i met the If I Die Young Taiping people at cafeteria. and Daniel and Jason. then gam mou and jamie join in my first lecture, which pkp is taking up too. though the classroom is so small we can't really talk =/ and it also cheered me up a bit when eugene and vincent randomly drop by at the lecture theatre. just so good to meet them =D 


and the next three hours is bored as hell too. frankly speaking, i even thought of ditching the lecture and joining chemical's fluid mechanics next door instead =/ they even have mechanicals people in that lecture! and til now, i'm still interested in ALL the branches. fluid mechanics, heat exchanger whatever sounds so interesting too.


finally, advanced maths is the best hour. it made my day. finally all the old friends gather at the same auditorium. and we get to TALK and CRAP. quite loudly too. for a whole hour. oops. so settling and comfortable to just hang out with old friends. truly blessed to still have the year one friends in this lecture =D and i think it would be my favourite subject this semester too. the only one without labs. lol.


and gap zai and gap lui became a common practice during the first day. ahaha. some looking for potential leng zais and luis, some just noticing the slight changes the old course mates have made, some just observes the newcomers and new faces. and then, commenting RATHER loudly about it. haha.

so. second year. i know when everyone starts to get busy, we won't have that much time to hang out at others' lectures, hence, won't be seeing other that much huh? anyways, i'll have to get into study mode as soon as possible. and get into second year uni mode as well too. hrm.


electrical and computer systems. sounds nerd huh. even looks nerd too. well, let's hope it'll still have some fun in it.
